About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and organised Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, improve processes, and ensure efficient business functioning across departments. You will manage teams, implement operational strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive organisational growth and excellence.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimise workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Track operational performance metrics and implement improvements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and manage operations teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Handle workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operations and recommend solutions.
  • Implement best practices, automation, and digital tools to improve productivity.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, including Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and other departments to align operational activities with business goals.
  • Support projects, process changes, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between operations and senior management.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain operational quality.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare reports and dashboards on operational KPIs, productivity, and team performance.
  • Analyse operational data to inform decision-making and process optimisation.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in operations management or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in operational tools, ERP systems, and data analysis (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
