VN14080Operations ManagerAU-Sydney The Operations manager is a senior member of the Sales Operations Division. The role is a broad role that covers managing the day to day operational transactions for the vendor stream. This includes ensuring the ERP system is set up with the correct vendor codes and pricing for the business to transact from quote to RMA.

There is extensive vendor contact required as well as service to both internal and external customer bases. The role will require a high level of professionalism and the ability to juggle multiple priorities whilst ensuring a consistent level of support to our customers.  Managing the operational focused vendor team to ensure all day-to-day requirements are met.

 Own the end-to-end transactions from customer order in to fulfilment and invoice  To monitor, manage and report on operational transactions  Provide feedback and support to the commercial and finance areas of the business in relation to operational transactions  Become involved in customer invoice dispute resolution where required  Recommend and implement improvements to existing operational processes and procedures  Own the integrity of the setup of products codes and information, standard and special (promotional) pricing in ERP System. Including price protection and VRF  Ensure product/technology restrictions are enforced on quotes and orders  Provide to VBM/Sales Op's Director weekly update on open orders expected to book each month  Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships to increase value for customers  Act as a role model within the team and Sales Operations division driving the principles of service excellence throughout  Managing high volumes of customer requests through workflow system, meeting and exceed defined SLA's and team objectives

  • Extensive Experience with SAP
  • Intermediate Excel Skills
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of Distribution Operations.

  • Strong problem solving skills – proven experience in understanding and solving problems
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision and high self-motivation and energy levels
  • Knowledge of people management strategies and requirements

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an IT based operational environment
  • Proven ability to operate independently, under pressure to meet multiple deadlines
  • Display high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrates complete ownership of problem from start to resolution
  • Demonstrated team and people management experience desired
