The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Day Tour Guide to join our team on a casual basis to deliver unforgettable experiences from beginning to end.

The role involves driving and guiding tour groups from Rainbow Beach/Noosa to K'gari for our day tour, and showing them everything that the island has to offer. The successful candidate will deliver engaging commentary on K'gari's natural and cultural history as well as serve lunch & refreshments, and ensure safety standards are met.

This is a diverse role that requires a love for the outdoors, attention to detail, problem solving skills, high level of customer service and a passion for the environment. If you are after a lifestyle rather than a job, this is the role for you

Necessary prerequisites:

  • Clean Medium Rigid driver's licence
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Queensland Driver's Authority (DA) to carry passengers. This entails a criminal history check, medical assessment and a written test 

    Priority will be given to candidates with a current DA
  • Current First Aid Certificate - HLTAID003 'Provide first aid'
  • Food safety certificate
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Physically fit with the ability to walk 10km in Grade 4 difficult terrain
  • Ability to work flexibly, noting our day tours depart daily
  • A keen sense of adventure
  • 4WDriving experience on sand advantageous
