The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Day Tour Guide to join our team on a casual basis to deliver unforgettable experiences from beginning to end.

The role involves driving and guiding tour groups from Noosa to K'gari for our day tour, and showing them everything that the island has to offer. The successful candidate will deliver engaging commentary on K'gari's natural and cultural history as well as serve lunch & refreshments, and ensure safety standards are met.

This is a diverse role that requires a love for the outdoors, attention to detail, problem solving skills, high level of customer service and a passion for the environment. If you are after a lifestyle rather than a job, this is the role for you

Necessary prerequisites:

  • Must be living in the Sunshine Coast area or moving within the month
  • Clean Medium Rigid driver's licence 

    You must either have this licence or have applied for it to be considered
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Queensland Driver's Authority (DA) to carry passengers. This entails a criminal history check, medical assessment and a written test 

    Priority will be given to candidates with a current DA
  • Current First Aid Certificate - HLTAID003 'Provide first aid'
  • Food safety certificate
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Physically fit
  • Ability to work flexibly, noting our day tours depart daily
  • A keen sense of adventure
  • 4WDriving experience on sand advantageous
