Bookkeeper – Bunbury, Busselton, or Margaret River

At RSM Australia, we're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our regional offices in Bunbury, Busselton, or Margaret River. You'll be part of a close-knit team of professionals, contributing to RSM's national strategy and our strong commitment to regional excellence.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance obligations
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Respond to bookkeeping queries and liaise with clients to resolve issues
• Assist with managing client relationships and ongoing communications
• Apply your knowledge of current accounting practices and industry trends
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery

About you:

• 4+ years relevant experience
• Relevant qualifications
• Xero and MYOB AccountRight experience essential
• Payroll experience
• Sound accounting skills (Dr's & Cr's; P&L & Balance Sheet differences)
• Basic GST knowledge
• Ability to identify & communicate process improvements
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-motivated (ability to work independently)
