Mental Health Disability Support Worker – Ingleburn, Mortdale & Hillsdale

Are you a compassionate and resilient support worker with experience in mental health?

Quality Health Care (QHC) is seeking dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team across our Supported Independent Living homes in Ingleburn, Mortdale and Hillsdale.

They live with complex intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges, and we are looking for someone who can provide consistent, person-centred support in both their home and the community.

Your Role:

  • Assist with all activities of daily living, including personal care, medication administration and meal preparation
  • Support with medical and allied health appointments
  • Encourage and facilitate community access and participation in meaningful activities
  • Implement behaviour support strategies and follow individualised plans
  • Work collaboratively with behaviour support practitioners, families, and the wider care team
  • Promote independence and enhance quality of life within a safe, supportive environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Cert IV in Disability, Mental Health or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with mental health conditions and challenging behaviours
  • Strong resilience, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, active nights and weekends
  • Unrestricted Driver's License
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
