Mental Health Positivity is a registered NDIS provider operating since 2021. We are dedicated to delivering culturally respectful, person-centred support services that empower participants to live fulfilling and independent lives.

About the Role

We are looking for a male support worker, ideally Muslim and Turkish-speaking, to assist an NDIS participant with community access, attending mosque, daily life, and engaging in cultural and social activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, respectful, and culturally appropriate support.
  • Assist with transport to mosque, community events, and social outings.
  • Support with daily life as required (personal care, routines, household tasks).
  • Encourage independence while supporting wellbeing.
  • Build a positive and supportive relationship with the participant.

Requirements

  • Male, preferably Muslim, with Turkish language skills.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in disability, mental health, or community support highly valued.
