Ceduna Café & Restaurant is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh, high-quality meals and excellent service to our community and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize the preparation and cooking of meals.
  • Determine menu items and seasonal specials in consultation with management.
  • Ensure food quality, portion sizes, and presentation meet our standards.
  • Supervise, train, and coordinate kitchen staff.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and occupational health standards.
  • Adapt menus for dietary requirements and customer preferences.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a Chef (essential).
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
