About the Role
We are looking for highly motivated Support & Test Equipment Specialist to support the most exciting engine platforms in the defence sector – the legendary F/A 18 Super Hornet's F414 engine and F135 engine that powers the most advanced fifth-generation fighter in the world – the F35 Lightning II. The S&TE Asset Performance Management Specialist role provides leadership, technical expertise, and direction in the development and implementation of the Asset Performance Management function for TAE
Your duties include:
Deliver a commercially focussed S&TE Asset Management performance management culture of responsibility and authority.
Identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness to reduce the cost base across materials business operations.
Maintain Regulatory Compliance across Asset Management.
Overall ownership and accountability for the TAE Asset Management solution in IFS(ERP) for all operations.
Management of S&TE solutions across the business.
Delivery of Asset Management Services including, but not limited to:
Provide performance reporting and analysis information.
Develop Physical, Data and Functional Audits.
Provide MRD, Repair Level and Life Cycle Costing Analysis services for S&TE.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with all approved procedures and/or instructions.
Skills and Experiences:
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience in asset performance management for manufacturing or repair operations.
Experience in asset strategy and risk management.
Experience with reliability centred maintenance, condition-based maintenance and predictive asset management.
Demonstrated Asset Management Engineering and Maintenance experience within an ERP.
Broad knowledge of and experience in maintenance practices involved within aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and Engineering environment or similar.
IFS Asset Management Experience.
ISO55001 working knowledge.
