We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Director (2IC) / Receptionist to join our Corrimal service. This is a varied role that combines leadership responsibilities with administrative and reception support.

About the role:Leadership / 2IC Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction to educators through collaboration
• Support educators to effectively implement the planning cycle and enhance practices and programs
• Lead, develop and implement effective educational programs within the service
• Ensure all learning is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Encourage and demonstrate respectful communication and behaviours within the service

Reception / Administration Responsibilities

• General reception duties including answering phones and assisting with queries
• Filing, scanning, printing, collation and distribution of weekly materials
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Centre
• Management of office supplies and maintaining a tidy office space
• Providing lunch cover and occasional support on the floor to maintain ratio requirements

About you:

• ACECQA Approved Diploma or Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Experience in a similar role advantageous
• Current Working with Children Check
• Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
• Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Strong computer skills
• Current approved First Aid Certificate
• Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
