Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior School classroom teacher. This is a 12 month full-time maternity leave replacement position commencing 21 January 2026.

Our purpose in Junior School is to create flexible and engaging environments that support learning through inquiry and recognize the diversity of the students in our school. We are committed to developing and nurturing the whole child. We strive to support students as capable individuals and as active constructors of their own learning.

Role Description:

• Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.
• Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice.
• Actively engage in the School's Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program.
• Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents/carers regarding their children's learning and wellbeing.
