About the Role

We're on the lookout for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team in a key yard-based role. This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing heavy machinery between hires, assisting customers, and helping with deliveries.

You'll be working around a variety of earthmoving equipment, so prior experience in, on, or around heavy machinery is essential. Whether you're an experienced yard hand, a truck driver with a Heavy Combination license, or even a qualified mechanic looking for a change and a job with variety, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Washing and detailing earthmoving machinery between hires
  • Preparing machines for dispatch and receiving returns
  • Assisting with loading/unloading machinery
  • Local delivery and collection of equipment in company vehicles
  • General yard duties and upkeep
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment as directed and coordinate or perform scheduled servicing depending on skill level.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must have prior experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Must hold a current car license (manual preferred)
  • Forklift license required (or willing to obtain)
  • HC (Heavy Combination) truck license would be a bonus
  • Mechanic or plant maintenance experience a bonus
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and reliability
  • Enjoys working outdoors and around machinery
