At Barrier Reef Pools, we are dedicated to delivering world class swimming pools across Australia and New Zealand. 

An exciting opportunity is now available for a dogman / yard hand / labourer to join the team at our Newcastle yard in Heatherbrae.

This role will suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced role and physical work in an outdoor environment.

This role is available to start immediately for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting the crane team in loading trucks
  • General Labouring
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe environment

About You

Previous experience is an advantage but not necessary.  To join our team, you will need to have a can do attitude and the ability to multi task and have a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will need:-

  • Current driver's license
  • Forklift ticket (preferred)
  • Dogman ticket (essential)
  • Crane ticket (essential)
  • Be able to demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace
  • Ability to work safely and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

We have ZERO tolerance to drugs and alcohol and you may be required to undergo a medical assessment prior to employment which includes drug and alcohol testing.  Our Drug and Alcohol Policy includes random testing.
