Overview

NHS Trade have a permanent full-time position available for a Yard Person to join our team at Lambton in the Plasterboard Centre.

Role responsibilities
  • Picking of customer orders in the Plasterboard Centre
  • Loading of NHS Utes and Trucks
  • Assisting with pass-ups for onsite deliveries
  • Stocking and re-stocking products in racks and bays
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Conduct stock counts
  • Participate in stocktakes

The ideal candidate would be someone that
  • Has a Safety First, Safety Second mindset
  • Follows Safe Work Instructions (SWIs)
  • Is punctual and reliable in attending work
  • Is physically fit (as frequent and repetitive lifting is required as part of this position)
  • Has a current Forklift ticket and Working at Heights ticket (for the right candidate we can assist with this)

This position will involve a Pre-employment Medical Assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol Screen, as well as a Background Check as part of the recruitment process. All NHS positions are subject to ongoing random Drug and Alcohol testing.
