Outdoor Blinds and Roller Shutter Installer

Australian Outdoor Living is looking to appoint a full-time reliable and passionate blinds & roller shutter trade Installer to be service the wider Brisbane area, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast where required.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for installing our high-quality outdoor blinds and roller shutters for our valuable customers all over the Brisbane area. It's a hands-on position that requires a strong, fit, and agile person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Install Outdoor Blinds & Roller Shutter to a quality standards.
  • Perform thorough inspections and repairs for customers when required
  • Conduct detailed check measures, ensuring customer agreement and authorisation.
  • Secure signed satisfaction forms after each installation, service, or repair appointment.
  • Experience with the installation of Beams, Posts, Flashings, and custom fabricated brackets
  • Adhere to all site work health and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical support to customers, answering questions and offering guidance.

About you

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the home improvement sector – building, carpentry, cabinet making or the like
  • Have your own reliable vehicle capable of carrying the tools of your trade, ladders, blinds up to 5.5m in length – Ute or Van preferrable with roof racks
  • Strong understanding and adherence to workplace health and safety (WHS)
  • Hold a valid manual driver's license
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Skilled in installation, repairs, and accurate measurements.
  • Able to have your own offsider to assist with the work as most jobs are a two-person team (Not required through the initial training period)
