SRI PUBLISHING CO PTY LTD T/as Dorsal by the Sea Restaurant is looking for Chef who can join our team, Dorsal by the Sea Restaurant is located in 1 West St, Forster NSW 2428 Australia. Working hours Fulltime (38 hours) per week. A passion for cooking and respect for work ethics is essential to this fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking food as per restaurant menu
  • Planning menu items
  • Estimate food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
  • Ensure quality and presentation of all foods
  • Training and developing kitchen staff
  • Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment
  • Discussing food preparation issues with senior management
  • Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure workplace
  • Select and train staff
  • Freeze and preserve foods

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • Must have experience worked as Chef minimum 1 year
