Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Project Geologist, located in the West Wyalong District of NSW. The Senior Project Geologist will be responsible for overseeing geological fieldwork, conducting logging and geological mapping, as well as managing geophysical surveys and drilling activities. This role involves daily hands-on fieldwork and coordination with various teams to ensure the success of geological projects. DI/DO or FI/FO Sydney or Melbourne. 12/9 Roster. Accommodation and meal allowance provided.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Field Work and Logging
  • Experience in Geological Mapping and Geophysics
  • Strong Knowledge of Drilling techniques and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience using 3D software, QGIS and Map Info.
  • 5 Years + experience.
  • Previous experience in a senior geological role is preferred
  • Experience working in NSW particularly the Macquarie Arc
