About the role
The Senior Marketing Specialist – Student and Graduate is primarily responsible for strategy and implementation of digital marketing plans to drive growth and engagement of student and graduate members. This role also supports the annual Engineers Australia membership renewals activity, working with the Senior Marketing Specialist, Acquisition & Digital Campaigns and Membership Manager – Junior Engineer.
Location
Flexible - this role can be based in any of offices across Australia with a preference for east coast.
In this role you will:
- Design, execute, and optimise lifecycle journeys and acquisition campaigns (e.g., Elevation, Ignite) using Salesforce Marketing Cloud/MS Customer Insights.
- Monitor and drive engagement with digital products (Virtual Work Experiences, Jobs Board, EA Xchange, CPD, Masterclasses, EngNews).
- Track, analyse, and report on marketing activity performance, with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Communications to deliver newsletters, social media, and marketing collateral that highlight EA membership benefits.
- Partner with internal teams (Graduate Engagement, Customer Experience, Membership, Tertiary Engagement) and manage external suppliers as required.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Degree in Marketing (or equivalent) with 5+ years' experience in digital and lifecycle marketing, including SEM, paid social, and budget management.
- Strong track record in eDM campaigns, marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or MS Customer Insights), and CMS platform use.
- Skilled in using data to drive decisions, measure ROI, and engage youth audiences through tailored content and campaigns.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, with excellent communication, detail orientation, and time management.
- Self-starter with a customer-first mindset, creativity, and innovative problem-solving skills.
