About the role

Are you an experienced hospitality professional seeking an exciting new challenge? The Robertson Hotel, a renowned hotel in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales, is looking for a talented Floor / Bar / Duty Manager to join their dynamic team. As a full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this prestigious hotel.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's public areas, including the bar, dining rooms and working with Events team.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and an exceptional guest experience
  • Supervising and working with guiding floor staff and monitoring bar.
  • Coordinating staff schedules and rosters with team.
  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar management role within a hotel or high-end hospitality establishment
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Familiarity with F&B systems and procedures
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and First Aid
