Join our Outside School Hours Team working in a specialist school setting and become an integral part of our mission to support school-aged children and young people (aged 5-18) with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with Community Access Manager and Coordinator, team of DSWs, children and parents/primary carers to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support children's learning, achievement, engagement and wellbeing?

We have casual positions available working Monday to Friday
  • After School Care: 3.00pm - 6:00pm
  • School Holiday Programs Vacation Care:  9.30am-4:30pm

About you

We're looking for people who are passionate, have a great attitude and an eagerness to learn. To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's valuesand have:

  • experience in the OSHC/early education or disability services sector.
  • willingness to be committed to empowering children/young people to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work
  • effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients
  • ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • willingness to support clients with personal care activities
  • Willingness to obtain a First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates if you don't already have one.
  • Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting
  • Completed or willingness to complete learning frameworks/modules
