Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning

The Role

In this field-based role, an emphasis on people and relationships is vital. Your hands-on approach will ensure service excellence for your clients in Brisbane CBD. These clients are premium 'A-Grade' buildings,

While managing the day-to-day operational needs of your team and client group, you will foster positive stakeholder relationships, exceed our clients' expectations, and ensure that we add value to our client portfolio. A sound understanding of commercial cleaning operations, relationship building, budgets and costs, service delivery and stakeholder management is key to success in this role.

As the Area Manager, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for our client
  • Lead the cleaning team
  • Undertake people management, including training and administration functions
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding orders
  • Coordinate periodic works and extra works
  • Invoicing for extra work and in-contract works
  • Conduct routine site audits (cleaning inspections)

Skills and Experience

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 1-2 years of commercial cleaning experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An eye for detail
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • A reliable car is essential
  • Experience in the cleaning industry is essential
  • A Working with Children and National Criminal History check is required for this role
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
