ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
As JTMEC continues to grow and expand nationwide, we're excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and driven Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. Based in either Sydney or Orange, NSW, this pivotal role reports to the Business Controller. You will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance our financial performance and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day to day financial transactional data for the business.
• Assist with the Accounting/Financial End of Month process.
• Producing accurate management and financial reports and analytics in a timely manner.
• Conduct project costing reviews and month-end variance analysis against forecasts.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Assist the payroll function ensuring compliance with reporting and lodgement obligations.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and BAS returns.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial internal controls and processes to ensure compliance and best practices.​

ABOUT YOU:
We're looking for a proactive and confident leader with:

• Tertiary Qualification in Accounting Degree, CPA/CA Qualified or working towards.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC, Power BI, Excel (Highly Regarded)
