About Us
Dental United Group is a growing dental equipment service organisation with four established businesses across multiple locations in Australia. We're pursuing an ambitious growth strategy through strategic acquisitions and service expansion and are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to strengthen our leadership team during this pivotal phase of development.
The Role
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all companies financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and managing a team of Accounts Staff. You'll implement comprehensive reporting systems that enable effective evaluation of acquisition targets and performance tracking across our expanding group.
You'll develop standardised financial frameworks that identify synergies, optimise resources, and ensure profitable growth while building scalable infrastructure to support our expansion. This includes establishing consistent financial controls, implementing advanced forecasting models, and creating executive dashboards that translate financial data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications
CA/CPA qualification with 5 years financial control experience
Multi-entity business environment experience essential
Acquisition, merger, and business integration expertise
Advanced financial modelling and system implementation skills
Strong team leadership abilities
Outstanding analytical and communication skills
Growth-oriented business experience preferred
