The Asset Finance Shop, based in Bondi Junction, is a leader in commercial asset finance. We provide tailored finance solutions for new and used commercial trucks, trailers, business vehicles, and heavy machinery across industries such as construction, farming, forestry, quarry and mining, heavy haulage, and transportation.

We are experiencing strong growth and are looking for a motivated Finance Operations to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start their career in administration and operations, with full training provided.


The role

As an Operations team member, you'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day business running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with administration, client support, and process coordination, gaining valuable experience in the finance industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support to brokers and operations staff.
  • Accurately enter and update client and deal information in our CRM system.
  • Prepare, review, and process finance documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, and partners to obtain and verify information.
  • Monitor applications and follow up on outstanding documents.
  • Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, and internal updates.
  • Support general office operations, ensuring a professional and organised workspace.
  • Learn and follow compliance and industry processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects and other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Who we are looking for

  • No prior finance experience required – we will provide full training.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, or office support (advantage but not essential).
