About the Business
Sunripe is a local family-run business that has become the largest producer of field grown snacking tomatoes in Australia. We have transformed a small snacking tomato farm into a quality-focused grower with multiple farms and a state-of-the-art packing facility near Bundaberg, servicing chain stores and local and interstate markets with premium quality fruit and produce We are a large team of passionate people, and we are looking for a value-driven individual to join our team.
About the role
As our next packing shed team leader, you will supervise, and direct packing shed staff to ensure produce is packed efficiently with a focus on quality, safety, and food safety. Some of the day-to-day duties will include:
- Prepare appropriate machinery and equipment for daily duties.
- Ensures all machinery adheres to food safety requirements.
- Supervise shed operations.
- Directs and monitors shed staff to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
- Clean and maintain end-of-line equipment.
- Maintain packaging consumable stock levels.
- Complete incident and hazard reports as required.
