The Company

Protech are partnering with a leading mining contractor known for delivering large-scale, technically challenging civil works projects in mining, oil & gas, renewables and manufacturing industries. Fostering long standing relationships for over 30 years, their portfolio of clients now consists of many of the "mining giants" as they continue to dominate in the space of demolition, decommissioning and construction works.

The Role

Due to significant growth in their Hunter Valley operations, this newly created position will suit a highly motivated individual, looking to commence their career within quality, safety and environmental sectors. With client sites spanned across the Hunter Valley, you will be expected to travel as required, with a healthy balance of both office and site-based responsibilities.

A day in the life will typically include:

  • Shadowing the QSE team; demonstrating an eagerness to learn and support where required
  • Having a confident, consultative approach to actively engage with clients and field employees to understand site specific requirements
  • Providing administration support with accurate data recording and maintenance of WHS Management System

Your Experience

  • Relevant formal qualification/s in WHS required
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated work experience in a similar role (advantageous)
