With decades of experience within the industry and a large network of experienced staff, Care Group Community Services was created as a full-service disability support provider.

Care Group Community Services purpose is to enhance our communities and alleviate hardship through the provision of support services, accommodation, and emergency care to those in need.

Our team provide in-depth framework, staffing, support solutions, accommodation and care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work in partnership with families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and other internal departments to provide personalised support and accommodation.

About the Role

The Team Leader manages day-to-day operational requirements, work distribution, and outputs of Disability services and Support Workers across multiple locations in compliance with legislative, regulatory, and funding guidelines and Care Group policies and procedures.

  • Provide feedback and suggestions to management regarding the operation of the program and potential improvements
  • Implement improvements through collaboration with management and relevant team(s) and in accordance with Care Group requirements around change management (where relevant)
  • Complete the rostering across the programs of responsibility and ensure that timesheets and case notes are submitted by their due date and time
  • Support management in the development and the monitoring of the relevant program budgets
  • Ensure all legal, funder and statutory requirements pertaining to the position are met including serious incidents, reportable conduct, and mandatory reporting (child safety, NDIS)
  • Identify, report, manage and respond to emerging issues in an
  • Establish, lead, coach and inspire an engaged and productive team
  • Lead the team in leading practices and effective process governance
  • Provide support, guidance, coaching, leadership, and empowerment to the team including feed back through performance reviews and regular supervision.
  • Undertake regular supervision and performance review with line manager, proving feedback to promote collaborative working relationships
  • Compliance with Care Group's values, code of conduct, policies and procedures and relevant government legislation and standards where relevant.
  • Cooperate with strategies to actively ensure the safety, protection and well-being of children who come into association with us.
  • Ensure appropriate use of resources.
  • Actively participate in initiatives to maintain, build upon and promote a positive and collaborative workplace
