The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and personable
Customer Experience Host
to join our Balgowlah showroom team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing, hospitality-driven environment and enjoys making every visitor feel welcome.

Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you'll be responsible for creating a premium in-store experience — from greeting guests and preparing coffee at our in-showroom bar, to supporting showroom presentation and assisting the Sales and Brand Environment teams.

This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday (Mondays 9am-3pm, Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm).
The Role

  • Prepare and serve quality coffee and tea to showroom visitors, ensuring a premium standard of service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the showroom coffee bar, replenishing supplies as required.
  • Greet customers warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming, professional first impression.
  • Support Sales Consultants by directing customers and providing general assistance.
  • Maintain showroom presentation throughout the day — refreshing décor, resetting cushions, and tidying product settings.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Environment team to uphold showroom visual standards.
  • Assist the Commercial and Retail teams with ad-hoc operational and event-based tasks as required.

About You

  • Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality (barista experience highly regarded).
  • RSA certification preferred (for events or alcohol service).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, professional manner.
  • High attention to detail and pride in showroom presentation.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible in your approach to tasks.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Team-oriented, with a strong customer-first mindset.
