Why this apprenticeship?

• 3-year apprenticeship to gain a Certificate III in Telecommunications

Some of what you will learn:

• How to run and terminate cables
• Installing, testing & fault-finding network systems
• Working with optical fibre, conduits & cable trays
• Programming & customer service tasks
• Use of an extensive range of new tech hand & power tools
• A wide range of new skills taught directly by industry experts.

What we're looking for:

• Enthusiastic and committed to a career in telecommunications
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants will be asked to provide documentation supporting their heritage
• Great work ethic, eager to learn, and able to follow directions
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with basic hand tools is desirable
• Ability to pass a Federal Police Check
• Driver's licence is not essential, but you must be able to travel to across Sydney to sites.

Government Bonus Telecommunications Apprenticeships are on the Australian Apprenticeship Priority List. You may be eligible for a payment of between $5000,00 and $10,000.00 from the Government during the term of the apprenticeship.
