Position: Head of Sales & Business Development – APAC

Location: Australia (must be based locally)

Package: ~$200K base + commission + bonus + benefits + super

Start Date: Flexible, ideally Nov 2025 – Jan 2026

Role Overview

The Head of Sales & Business Development – APAC will lead commercial strategy across the region, driving revenue growth, strengthening trade lanes, and building long-term partnerships with customers, airlines, and service providers.

This role reports directly to the Regional SVP and collaborates with global leadership teams to shape and execute initiatives that expand reach, competitiveness, and customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Sales & Business Development strategy across APAC.

  • Build and expand key trade lanes and partnerships with airlines, suppliers, and customers.

  • Drive growth through customer-centric solutions and digital innovation.

  • Oversee contract negotiations and procurement.

  • Guide and mentor regional trade lane leaders and commercial teams.

  • Collaborate with global and regional leadership to deliver mission-critical initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven leadership in airfreight wholesaling, airlines, or global freight forwarding.

  • Strong track record in sales, business development, and leading high-performing teams.

  • Deep understanding of freight forwarding operations and airfreight supply chain.

  • Strong client, airline, and partner relationships across APAC.

  • Strategic mindset with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with digital platforms and solutions in freight forwarding.

  • Degree in Business, Sales or a related field.

  • Knowledge of industry standards, including IATA regulations and e-AWB processes.
