About the Role

Visy Retail Services are now looking for an experience Lead Graphic Designer & Digital Content Specialist to join our inclusive marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be the creative force within our Marketing team – designing, producing, and managing visual content across both digital and print. From concept to delivery, you will oversee the full spectrum of design output, ensuring brand consistency, commercial impact, and high-quality execution.

You will collaborate with marketers, category managers, web developers, and retail partners to deliver work that not only looks great – it performs. You'll also lead and mentor another graphic designer, and take the reins on digital content strategy, including social media assets, website content, and 3D imagery.

This is a full-time role for 12 months fixed term, covering Parental Leave. Working on a flexible hybrid model with 3 days working in the Visy Dandenong office and two days working from home.

What you will do:

• Design across multiple formats: packaging, signage, websites, social media, and presentations.
• Preparation of pre-press artwork
• Develop and maintain style guides and brand assets across Visy Retail Services' portfolio.
• Create impactful digital content, manage website updates, and support social media initiatives.
• Oversee image creation: manage 3D/photography briefs, track production, and ensure timely delivery for product launches.
• Maintain and upload digital content to internal and external CMS platforms.
• Lead the design response for new brand development & logo design rebranding initiatives, and retailer submissions.
• Ensure quality control across all design outputs and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, category, and product teams to align visuals with strategic goals.
• Provide Social Media support where required.

What you will bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Communication Design.
• 5 years' experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of print, packaging and digital work
• Experience within a Marketing agency – desirable
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• After Effects and WordPress experience desirable
• Experience in both print and digital design, image retouch for print and web
• Excellent eye for creative design and attention to detail, time management, and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast moving environment.
• Strong understanding of brand guidelines, marketing strategy, and visual storytelling.
• A collaborative, hands-on mindset with the confidence to own your creative space.
