About the Opportunity
We are looking for a creative and driven
Marketing Specialist – Digital & Social Media
to join our team and help elevate the presence of our OEM boat builder partners across digital platforms. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and supporting the OEM strategy team, this role suits a digital content creator and social media enthusiast who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You'll be responsible for developing and executing engaging content across Instagram and Facebook, managing content calendars, and working closely with our OEM boat builder partners to bring their brands to life. Duties of the role include, but not limited to:
Content Creation
- Develop, shoot, and edit high-quality videos, photos, and reels for digital and social platforms.
- Highlight product features, customer stories, and on-water experiences.
- Travel for site visits, industry events, and content shoots.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone and visual identity.
Social Media Management
- Manage Instagram and Facebook accounts: plan, publish, monitor, and report.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar and write engaging captions.
- Respond to community engagement and analyze performance metrics to refine strategy.
Marketing Coordination
- Support integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and suppliers to manage timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate co-branded content and approvals with OEM partners.
Customer Collaboration
- Partner with OEM boat builder customers to develop content supporting their brand and product launches.
- Attend events and shoots to capture real-time, engaging content.
- Creating high-quality visual content (videos, photography, reels) for social media and digital platforms
- Managing Instagram and Facebook accounts, including content planning, publishing, and community engagement
- Coordinating integrated marketing campaigns and co-branded content with OEM partners
- Attending customer shoots, events, and on-water experiences to capture real-time content
- Collaborating with internal teams, agencies, and suppliers to deliver marketing assets
- Analysing social media performance and adjusting strategies to maximise engagement
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.
- 3–5 years' experience in digital content and marketing coordination.
- Strong skills in video/photo creation and editing for social media.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok trends.
- Experience managing content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Excellent writing and visual storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Self-motivated and collaborative mindset
Highly Regarded
- Experience in the marine or automotive industries.
- Background in OEM, B2B partnerships, or co-branded content.
- Confidence in planning and executing on-location shoots.
- Passion for boating or outdoor recreation.
Additional requirement
- Travel:
Monthly travel is expected within Australia and New Zealand for customer shoots and events.
