The opportunity
Working within the Supportive Care division, reporting to the Cancer Support Services Manager; you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Cancer Support Services Team under the direction of the Cancer Support Services Manager.
Based in Subiaco, this position is part-time (0.4 FTE).
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering high level administrative support to the Cancer Support Services team with a wide range of tasks such as event planning, correspondence, database, travel, and financial administration
- Information management, schedule and coordinate meetings, and document preparation
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an administrative support role
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive information
- Experience working on a reception/switchboard (desirable)
- Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- High level of verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong numeracy and data entry skills
- Proven ability to meet competing and tight deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
