The opportunity

Working within the Supportive Care division, reporting to the Cancer Support Services Manager; you will be responsible for co-ordinating information resources used within WA, both internally produced resources and those produced by the National Publications Group. Functions include distribution of hard copy resources, stock control, review of text, ordering stock, utilisation monitoring, oversee website updates, and record keeping. Co-ordination of relevant digital information content review and amendment is also required.

Based in Subiaco, this position is part-time (0.6 FTE).

What you'll be doing:

  • Support development and reviewing of internal and national publications and resources
  • Distribution of CCWA information and support resources
  • Ensure appropriate publications and resource stock levels are maintained and within cost allocation, and data entry
  • Development of web page review processes and update pages accordingly
  • Building of relationships and working collaboratively with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Liaise with health services sites to introduce and maintain information resource stands

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience with managing development and co-ordination of information resources (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in the health and/or community sector (desirable)
  • High level of computer and keyboard skills – Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other databases
  • Evidence of well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Experience with management of website content (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to constantly improve processes and service delivery
  • Current West Australian Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
