Skillset is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Services Manager to join their client's highly regarded boutique accounting firm in Bathurst, NSW.

This is a Permanent – Full Time opportunity offering a dynamic work environment, strong client relationships and a genuine focus on professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic tax and business advice to a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and management reports for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering growth
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and trusted advice
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of client strategies
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional services firm
  • CA or CPA qualification (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance
  • Proven ability to manage client advisory and compliance work
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB and other client software
  • Experience in management reports, financial statements and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals & SMSFs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
