About the role
As a Property Manager at LJ Hooker Bathurst, you will play a key role in the residential leasing and property management division of this established real estate agency. Overseeing a portfolio of properties in the Bathurst area, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day management of these investments for their owners. This full-time position offers the opportunity to showcase your exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting property inspections and managing maintenance and repairs
- Advertising and marketing available rental properties to secure quality tenants
- Conducting thorough tenant screening and selection processes
- Negotiating and preparing residential tenancy agreements
- Collecting and processing rent payments, and managing arrears
- Responding promptly to tenant inquiries and resolving any issues that arise
- Maintaining detailed property records and providing regular reporting to landlords
- Ensuring all properties are managed in compliance with relevant legislation

- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple priorities
- Sound knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and regulations
- Proficient in using computers & digital platforms
