Safety Manager
, you'll ensure every educator, child, and team member connected to ANZUK is protected through strong Work Health & Safety, Child Safety, and Compliance systems.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll take ownership of ANZUK's safety and compliance frameworks, ensuring every educator and staff member operates in a safe, compliant, and supportive environment.

Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Oversee and enhance ANZUK's
    Safety Management System (SMS)
    and
    Child Safe Framework
    .
  • Provide governance, advice, and reporting to senior leaders across Work Health & Safety, Child Safety, and Compliance.
  • Partner with external providers to manage incidents, investigations, and return-to-work processes.
  • Use data and insight to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that make our systems simpler, safer, and more effective.

Who this role is perfect for:

You're an experienced safety, compliance, or child protection professional who's ready to shape systems and culture—not just maintain them. You're as comfortable in the detail as you are in the big picture, and you lead with empathy, integrity, and practical know-how.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in
    WHS, compliance, and/or child safety governance
    , ideally in education, health, or labour hire.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to build trust and guide change.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot trends.
  • Sound judgement and discretion when managing sensitive information.
  • Formal qualifications in WHS, risk, or compliance will be highly regarded.
