Miepol Pty Ltd is a well known service provider to the Civil/Construction Industry. Experienced in Civil Construction Infrastructure, Traffic Management and Labour Hire Services.

About the role

An opportunity exits for an 2x Experienced Design Engineer & 2x Experienced Traffic Planners to join our growing team. These are full time positions for an immediate start. Reporting to the Design Engineering Coordinator, the roles will be based in West Footscray.

Design Engineers

You will be responsible for efficiently assisting the Design Engineering Coordinator with Miepol Designs for contracts.

Your will:

  • Scope, investigate, define and prepare project plans for designs and investigations

  • Manage the preparation of Civil Design Plans, specifications and estimates for a range of Civil design projects

  • Review all design documentation prepared and ensure that it is correct to a high degree of accuracy, suitable for construction and in accordance with all relevant standards

To be considered for this role you must have the following :

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, minimum of 3 years' experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Civil engineering design and construction with a strong emphasis in the design of civil infrastructure

  • Proficiency in the use of Civil infrastructure design and project management software applications like AutoCad Civil 3D (mandatory) and Microsoft Project.

  • Construction White Card and Valid Victorian Drivers Licence

Traffic Planners & TMDs

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective provision of Traffic Management Plans and advice: including, traffic management functions, expert advice on traffic planning and management and operations to wide range of MIEPOL clients.

Your will:

  • Hold an TMD qualification (Desirable)

  • Demonstrate a high level of AutoCAD experience

  • Minimum 2 years traffic planning experience
