About the role:

We have created a new division of Mimosa Homes and are expanding into two new markets, wholesale detached homes and medium density homes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Production Estimator to help establish this new division and enjoy the ongoing opportunities for career success development.

The successful applicant will join a hard working team with a strong commitment to providing quality service.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved
  • Produce Purchase / Work orders and quantity take-offs in a timely manner
  • Provide margin reports
  • Request and interpret quotations
  • Ensure jobs are cost effective and profitable
  • Assist in Workflow of jobs in production

To be considered, you should possess:

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in an estimating role
  • Previous experience within the medium density industry is preferred
  • Qualification in Building / Construction and/or trade experience is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of the Building and Construction process
  • Exposure to estimating systems including DataBuild is highly advantageous
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner
