An outstanding leadership opportunity is now available for an experienced General Manager to take the reins at BreakFree Port Pirie.

Centrally located in this South Australian region, the property features 62 guest rooms including brand-new villas, comfortable motel-style accommodation, function & event facilities, and the popular Angus & Co. Bar and Grill restaurant.

About the role

We're seeking a dedicated, hands-on hospitality professional with the drive to:

  • Lead and motivate a dynamic team across all departments.
  • Maximise all revenues through strong sales, yield, and expense management.
  • Deliver consistently high guest experiences with a focus on quality and service.
  • Build and maintain a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth.
  • Commit to a 24 month + tenure

About you

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven success in accommodation and F&B management, ideally as a GM or senior leader.
  • Strong understanding of revenue and yield management in competitive markets.
  • A sharp commercial mind with proven ability to manage costs and drive profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to inspire, develop, and retain staff.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • Hands-on management style, with a passion for people and hospitality.
  • Experience with hospitality systems (Opera Cloud PMS, POS, channel management, accounting).
  • Solid understanding of workplace health, safety, and risk management.
