About the Role
Your will report to HR Advisor and will be responsible for all recruitment/HR related matters including end to end recruitment, new staff on-boarding, arrange interviews as well as other HR admin work as advised by your direct supervisor.
If you have just recently completed a degree in HR or equivalent, we highly recommend that you apply for this role to break into the workforce.
In addition, you will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of end-to-end recruitment process e.g. advertising, shortlisting, arrange interviews, reference checking, medical booking and on-boarding (New starter paperwork).
- Responsible for recruitment/HR administration work.
- Assisting with a variety of HR work as advised by you direct supervisor
- Assist with various claims as as directed by the HR Advisor.
- Organise/ book and manage staff training.
- Support HR Advisor with other HR related workload when required.
Experience, Skills & Attributes required
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar discipline desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with HR related legislation including Fair Work Act, Awards and employment instruments.
- Aptitude for effective conflict resolution.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Demonstrate effective time management with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
- Civil/Mining Industry experience desirable.
It is essential that you have a flexible and willing attitude and a strong desire to work within a team environment.
