- Operations - delivering effective large-scale land management including fire management, feral animal control, weed control and infrastructure management.
- Science - delivering the largest national biological survey program with a focus on measuring the population of indicator species and the extent of threatening processes as well as conducting research on key issues such as feral cat control.
- Fundraising - mobilising finance (primarily, tax-deductible donations) from the general public and philanthropists including through effective communication of field updates from around the AWC estate.
- Support Functions - delivering essential administrative and logístical support to enhance collaboration and efficiency across all teams to achieve AWC's mission
**About the role**:
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive People Administrator to support the daily operations of our small People team. Based out of AWC's office in Subiaco, Western Australia, the People Administrator will handle a wide range of administrative tasks and ensure the smooth functioning of human resource activities. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, excellent organisational skills and an adept understanding of human resource policies and procedures.
Complete full employee life cycle HRIS administration tasks including timely employee profile updates
Collaborate with various departments to ensure HR systems and processes are aligned
Provide human resources administration assistance including contracts of employment and/or variations
Ensure consistency in AWC brand including assisting with recruitment advertising campaigns
Generate HRIS generated reports as required and administration support to the Chief People Officer
Maintain accurate HR records and databases, prepare reports, and handle administrative tasks related to HR processes, such as payroll and personnel files.
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Proven experience in administration
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for conservation and a commitment to our organisation's mission.
