**Why This Role?**
The Business Support Team (BST) within Mining Plus provide support to our technical personnel and we combine to form a committed and innovative global team. We are responsible for functions including human resources, accounts, commercial, project control, IT, business systems, HSEQ and marketing.
Reporting to our Human Resources Officer, this position will support the human resources function for the business. The primary focus of this position will be on general human resource administration activities within Australia; however, this role will also be exposed to global human resources aspects.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Assist in administration functions within our Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- HR data entry (inclusive of updating and maintaining employee records)
- Provide support and assistance in scheduling employee onboarding and offboarding activities
- Complete expense claims
- Book domestic and international travel and accommodation
- Coordinate our IT assets and maintain uniform stock levels
- Organise employee engagement activities such as team events, gifts, etc
- Ensure human resource documentation is current
- Undertake general office administration tasks
**Why You?**
- You are legally entitled to live and work in Australia
- You have a minimum of 1 years of experience in Human Resources or general Administration
- You can actively demonstrate situational sensitivity and maintain confidentiality to ensure the Human Resources team remains trusted and credible
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Google products and have an intuitive understanding of databases and other platforms
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and are confident in communicating with a variety of stakeholders
- You have strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and data entry skills
- You are highly organized, have a great work ethic, and an ability to multi-task
- You can work autonomously and as part of a team, but always with a proactive approach to your work
