TEMP SENIOR PAYROLL OFFICER - ASAP STARTAn open opportunity for a diligent and detail oriented Senior Payroll Officer to join a busy team in Bentley on a temp basis, ongoing assignment that could convert for the right person. You will be reporting into the Payroll Manager and working in a team environment, using your existing payroll knowledge to help act as a point of escalation for the rest of the team.

Ideally you will be able to commence ASAP, or in the next couple of days. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • End to End Monthly Payroll: New starters, Bank changes, Super, Salary increases, allowances and deductions, terminations
  • Follow documented process for Payroll checking to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Assist with the calculation and payment of termination payments
  • Assist with the administration of PAYG, Super and Third-Party payments
  • Maintaining the masterfile
  • Assist with reviewing audit reports for each payroll, following up any discrepancies
  • Preparation of Reports
  • Support preparation of payroll reports as required
  • Support reconciliation of annual payroll reports/data
  • Mentor and guide the team to provide support on payroll queries/questions
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes

    where appropriate

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role, as well as the following attributes:

  • Capable of processing high volume, complex multi-site payrolls
  • Demonstrated experience (ideally 5+ yrs) in Payroll, and some experience mentoring staff or other team members.
  • Approachable attitude and friendly to other team members
  • High attention to detail, completes work with high level of accuracy
  • Be a team player, happy to help others out and assist during busy times, works well in a large team environment
