About the role

As our business expands, we're looking for a proactive and organised Office Manager to join our team and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

The Office Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of Simplicity Air. You'll be responsible for managing administrative systems, coordinating staff and schedules, handling customer communication, and ensuring business processes run efficiently.

You'll need to be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing all administrative functions, including managing office supplies, equipment, and stock control
  2. Handle scheduling, appointments, and staff coordination
  3. Reply to customer and supplier emails and calls promptly.
  4. Assisting with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding new employees and managing personnel files
  5. Analysing and reporting on office efficiency metrics to identify areas for improvement
  6. Collaborating with the leadership team to implement office policies and procedures
  7. Identify opportunities to improve office systems and efficiency

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in an office management or administrative role
  2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  4. Proficiency in using ServiceM8, Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  5. Experience with office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and telephones
  6. Knowledge of office administration best practices and procedures
  7. A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail
  8. Experience with accounting software such as Xero
  9. Experience with payroll processing and employee record management
