General

  • Uphold and carry out all TECHTs policies and procedures.
  • Deliver all projects according to TECHTs Project Standards, Processes and Compliance requirements.
  • Communicating goals to other professionals win the team.
  • Comply with any lawful and reasonable direction given to you by TECHT.
  • Perform your duties and responsibilities in a proper and efficient manner using all due care and skill.
  • Devote the whole of your time and attention to your work.
  • Use your best endeavours to protect and promote the TECHTs business.
  • Aim to coordinate your time to achieve 70% chargeable hours.

Project Design

  • Understanding and applying applicable codes and standards (both international and Australian).
  • Managing risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements

Project Management

  • Supervising every phase of the project from start to completion.
  • Supervising equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Working with and/or managing small teams of Engineers.
  • Manage projects to ensure that the client's objectives are met.
  • Ensure project documentation is completed appropriately and meets internal and external requirements and is of high quality and in line with industry best practices.
  • Prepare concise reports and address issues relevant to client and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver reports as required for all stages of project life. From Scope of Works to Project Close out reporting.
  • Establishing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts and overall financial management for the project.

  • Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.

  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximise deliverable outputs.

Building and maintaining client and supplier relationships

  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers.
  • Manage relationship with customers, vendors, prime contractors, sub-contractors, and other relevant parties.
  • Act as the central point of contract within assigned projects, and by providing necessary direction to all parties.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports for management.
  • Ensure project documentation is completed appropriately and meets internal and external requirements.
  • Prepare concise reports and address issues relevant to client and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver reports as required for all stages of project life. From Scope of Works to Project Close out reporting.

Leadership

  • Lead the preparation of programs for the design and delivery of projects.
  • Writing, synthesis, review and technical input into written deliverables.
  • Delegate tasks to engineering teams.
  • Coordinate people to ensure adequate time to undertake various jobs / tasks / projects.
  • Take accountabilities for all technical outputs under your direction at TECHT.
  • Assist with improving systems and methods to ensure TECHT continues to function in the event of leavers. This would involve developing Standard Operating Procedures for the various tasks that TECHT undertakes.
  • Assist in the innovation and development of new strategies to achieve TECHTs vision and mission.
  • Deliver on directions provided by your direct report and the Directors of the company.
  • Mentor and assist with mentoring of less experienced team members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in the resource sector.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) – Advanced user.
  • Be able to clear a medical examination.
  • Be able to clear security checks (Suitable National Police Clearance).
  • A current driver's license.

HSEQ Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the ISO 9001 Quality Management System company wide.
  • Participate in company internal and external audits.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to roll out approved versions of company-wide HSEQ documents.
  • Establish measurable objectives and plans to achieve them.
  • Establish and communicate the company's HSEQ policy and objectives.
  • Provide the necessary resources, including personnel, infrastructure, and financial resources, to achieve HSEQ objectives.
  • Ensure that workers are competent, trained, and aware of their HSEQ responsibilities.
  • Encourage the prevention of non-conformities and the reduction of risks.
  • Implement and maintain processes needed to meet HSEQ requirements.
  • Control non-conforming outputs and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Identify and plan for risks and opportunities related to HSEQ.
  • Monitor, measure, analyse, and evaluate HSEQ performance.
  • Conduct internal audits and management reviews to ensure the effectiveness of the HSEQ management system.
  • Continuously improve the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the HSEQ management system.
