The Senior EI&C Engineer role is a Brisbane-based leadership position focused on delivering HV/LV electrical, instrumentation, and control designs while guiding a junior engineering team and coordinating with clients and vendors. It offers a mix of office and occasional site work, with opportunities to contribute to multidisciplinary projects and technical proposals.

Description

  • Lead and guide a junior EI&C engineering team
  • Deliver and review HV/LV, instrumentation, and control designs
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
  • Develop project plans, scopes of work (SOW), proposals, and cost estimates
  • Provide technical guidance and act as the design focal point for clients
  • Assist with installation and commissioning activities
  • Manage scheduling and direct engineers to complete project tasks
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Support secondment projects with partners and other divisions

Profile

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering
  • 5-8 years' experience in EI&C engineering
  • RPEQ (Electrical) registration
  • Strong skills in HV protection, earthing design, SKM PTW, AutoCAD
  • Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider) and SCADA/HMI systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills
  • Eligible to work in Australia
Bonus Skills
  • TUV certification, SIL 3 experience
  • BESS concept design, PowerCAD/ETAP
  • Field instrumentation knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and across hybrid/remote teams
