Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our established and dedicated team.

Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

The successful candidate will join a hardworking and committed team, operating in a busy, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

You will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with line managers to manage performance, coach on best practice, and provide clear, practical HR advice
  • Educating and supporting leaders in applying HR policies, managing employee behaviour, and resolving issues effectively
  • Attending pre-starts and toolbox meetings to provide visible HR support and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Supporting day-to-day employee queries relating to employment conditions, entitlements, and workplace matters
  • Preparing, analysing, and presenting HR data and reports to inform decision-making and support operational performance
  • Coordinating employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and exit interviews, with a focus on capturing trends and opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with leaders, employees, and stakeholders to support the delivery of business and HR objectives
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by reviewing HR processes, identifying efficiencies, and aligning with legislative and policy requirements.
  • Upholding company values, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining integrity as a trusted HR partner
About You

To succeed, you will need to be proactive, adaptable, and confident in building strong relationships across the business. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering timely and practical HR support will be essential.

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline
  • A friendly, enthusiastic demeanour with strong attention to detail and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to manipulate data, prepare reports, and provide meaningful insights
  • Industry experience in the resources or construction
  • Proven experience at an Advisor level, with the ability to provide sound, practical HR advice
  • Capability and resilience to maintain a FIFO lifestyle
  • A valid C-class driver's licence
