Job PurposeThis role will accelerate the growth of Komatsu MTS products throughout Australasia by uncovering new opportunities, cultivating strategic client partnerships, and delivering customised technology solutions. It drives revenue growth and market expansion through proactive sales leadership, close collaboration with internal teams, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Travel RequirementsUp to 25%.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking and outreach.
- Own all sales processes from initial contact, through engagement to proactively managing new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets and expand Komatsu MTS Technologies market share.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Manage customer relations to achieve value in use from our products aligned with other business units.
- Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end Sales Process while regularly providing feedback on customer and market trends.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress and performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Attend approved industry events, functions and conferences to build industry .
- Extensive experience in business development and technical sales, preferably relating to the mining industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mining industry, market trends, and competitors.
- Familiarity with Mining technology and the ability to understand customer needs.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and clients at all levels within an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver successful customer outcomes with multiple priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously to meet business expectation, KPI's and customer targets.
- Extensive administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy to ensure contracts represent the requirements of both parties to the agreement.
Experience with MS Office suite, Salesforce, Sharepoint, and their use.
