Digrite is an established company in sales, support, service and hire of earthmoving equipment to clients across Western Australia.

About the role

We are seeking an Earthmoving machinery Workshop Manager / Leading Hand, or someone mechanically minded to take on the role of overseeing the daily operations of our workshop.

This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week.

Reporting to the operations manager your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling of the workshop staff to guarantee max efficiency ,ensuring that the customers receive high quality communication and service.
  • Manage a workshop team of approximately 4-5 full time mechanics and apprentices.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Carry out and manage workshop administration duties including but not limited to processing of sales/ purchase orders, invoicing, branch reporting requirements and warranty claims.
  • End of service/repair quality checks
  • Assist with other duties as required.

About You:

  • Excellent conflict resolution, competent decision making skills
  • Have the ability to reliably work at minimum 7.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to thrive and handle pressure in a busy environment.
  • Excellent oral, written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Team leadership and management skills

  • Experience working with hydraulic, electric and mechanical equipment such as earthmoving equipment.
